Technical Requirements

Program Length: 1 hour (each set)

Configuration: Electric bass, piano, drums, congas and percussion, saxophone, trumpet, voice (total: 7 musicians).

Stage: Minimum 25' x 17". Preferably a permanent stage area (like concert stage or theatre) with outlets, appropriate sound stage and lighting.

Sound:

• P.A. System to be provided by venue.
  Mixing board with minimum 16 inputs, 2 aux sends; outboard signal processing (reverb, etc.)
• Sound Engineer to be provided by venue.
• Separate stage mixing.
• Cassette deck or dat player to record concert.
  Audio cassette or dat to be provided by band
• Tuned acoustic Baby or Grand piano.
• Microphones:
• 1 for voice
• 1 for saxophone
• 1 for trumpet
• 2 for piano
• 4 for drum set
• 1 speaking microphone for drummer
• 2 for percussion (congas, timbales, etc.)
• 1 direct box for bass amplifier
• Monitors: minimum of 4
• Electrical power for bass amplifier.

Other:

• Sound check prior to performance.
• Two dressing rooms.
• Soft drinks.
